Visitors often ask me about my favorite photo spots, so I thought I
would put this page together.

My favorite Stockholm photo spots
My starting point is usually the "Red Boat". It's a nice spot catching
a summer sunset, and the view you can see from there is similar to
this one. It's of course impossible to guarantee a show such as this
one, but May and June are good months for watching a sunset from this spot. Access to water is
completely unprotected in this area, so please take care:
From there I often go to the footbridge that is the part of Centralbron, with views like these when the wind stops:
The footbridge leads to Riddarholmen that offers more thrilling reflections when there is no wind:
Another option from the Red Boat is to go straight to Slussen (https://goo.gl/maps/KmL8TXqzBgo) where there is even a set of benches for watching the sunset:
Some of the most spectacular views can be seen by going up on Monteliusvagen (aurora not guaranteed!)
(https://goo.gl/maps/YvyGjTg1rg82):
Vasterbron provides a nice view from the distance as well:
The Stockholm City Hall is a popular spot, with nice views from its garden (cannot guaranteed the moon, though!):
The view from the tower is superb:
Nybrokajen is a nice place for looking at the buildings on
Strandvagen, especially on a calm night:
A bit farther across the bridge, Skeppsholmen offers some classic views:
Going farther to Kastellholmen offers this:
Up on the hill, Fjallgatan can be nice during late Spring and early Fall months:
Going up on the communications tower offers a gorgeous view of the city:
